我們豈不曾見，光照樓宇金窗
少年如我，神醉目盲。
我們豈不曾見，光斜荒垣空牆
中年相識，但笑過往。
而遠行的朋友，來日將老
且容光自樹間掩映 ，枝葉粼粼
且讓暮色，佇候街角
人間好意如此
總是隱約流逝
總會依約而至
Have we not seen the golden gleam,
Of sunlight gracing windows’ beam?
In youth, like me, with wonder blind,
Drunk on dreams that blur the mind.
Have we not seen, through crumbled wall,
The angled light on ruins fall?
In middle years, with friends we meet,
And laugh at time’s retreating feet.
And friends who wander far shall age,
Yet let the light through trees engage—
Through shimmering leaves, its dance unfolds,
While twilight lingers at the hold.
The kindness here on earth we know
Is faint and fleeting as it flows,
Yet always comes, as time bestows.
